Overture
Last week in the rubrics Thursday in the Emotional Valley we talked about how to deal with overthinking, and more in detail how not to worry about what others think about you.

In that post I have described my three non-standard ways, which help dealing with overthinking and thinking what others think about it:
- Remember, your (human’s) body is not only a head

The Throat Chakra, if not blocked and in harmony with a human’s body, filters the poisons (physical, mental, emotional, vibrational, any) and does not allow those poisons to enter the human’s inner system.
I promised to write about my ways (my thoughts and reasoning) on how to strengthen the Throat (Blue) Chakra and here they are!
My ways to strengthen the Throat Chakra are:
- Yoga asanas
- Jewelry blue amulet
- Blue in wardrobe
- Aromatherapy
- Meditation or Prayer
- Stay away from electronic devices
1. Yoga asanas
- Yoga asanas to clean/strengthen/activate/open the Throat Chakra:
- LION POSE (SIMHASANA)
- PLOW POSE (HALASANA)
- SHOULDERSTAND (SALAMBA SARVANGASANA)
- FISH POSE (MATSYASANA)
2. Jewelry blue amulet
That is right – jewelry amulet in blue color, better to wear in the area of throat.
This man, wearing a blue amulet could be a great example, because he really cares about himself and wears blue amulet for Throat chakra. By taking care of himself, he, therefore, has a power and energy to help others!
How to Stop Overthinking and Find Peace
For those who have an extremely huge amount of emotional information coming through, who help people emotionally and therefore – know all the emotional sufferings – blue amulet is like a shield, a great protector. Those could be psychologists, pharmacists, doctors, social workers.
In reality, not all of us are doctors or psychologists according to a profession, but the emotional information around still plays a great role, Here we are to realize – helping YOURSELF is also a great job too! Unless one has not helped himself – do not try to help others! SO, wear blue amulet!

As a friend of mine says: “You do not choose the stone – the stone chooses YOU!
Remember not to overthink when choosing your stone, just relax. The one which caught your eye first is yours, just take it:)
If it is made of plastic or really cheap?
What about jewelry made of plastic or cheap metal alloys? First of all, it can cause allergies, and wearing plastic (not a matter of Nature) should not have a positive impact by physical laws, but the choice is yours!
Sometimes shiny artificial jewelry catches the eye and does not let us go – the choice is yours! Sometimes it is everything what we need at the exact stage and life situation, no problem:)
3. Blue in wardrobe

If any jewelry is not your story, than blue in wardrobe could help: scarf, jacket, shirts, t-shirt, etc.
4. Aromatherapy
I found out that even aromatherapy could help to open the Throat Chakra and heal. According the information on GOODNET, to open the throat chakra, burn ether incense, essential oils, and candles like frankincense, geranium, jasmine, sage, cypress, peppermint, eucalyptus, clove, tree tea, and lavender.
Again, the choice is yours. If, for example, you do not like the smell of lavender – it does not mean now to use lavender in aromatherapy! Choose what you like and prefer from the list above and feel comfortable, relax.
5. Meditation or Prayer
Meditation

Yes, meditation helps in many ways and healing the Throat Chakra is one more reason to start
I know, I know, you may say meditation is for yogis, not for us. They sit there in the mountains and meditate, it is easy there! Well, meditating at home could be much comfortable: no wind, no insects, no snails around as in the mountains, think about it:)
I started from 5 minutes and now it is 15, after half a year! That’s the tiny progress, but it is!

Prayer
The prayer, in fact, is the same as nowadays globally popular practice of meditation. Prayer or meditation is a time when one meets him/herself, it is time to enter and cure entire human. Prayer makes us peaceful and brings harmony to the mind, and heals the body.
6. Stay away from electronic devices
Minimize, or make it less – the time spent in front of a computer or mobile phone

Our electronic devices are too close to the throats, we let them affect us daily
If one could say that “according to scientific research smarts phones” are safe – he/she will be true. But we are here to come back to Nature, to be true human beings, and that is why now the knowledge is yours. Yes, phones, tablets and computers have a direct and indirect impact on throat Chakra.
Direct impact of the electronic devices on the Throat Chakra
Radiofrequency waves – they now in competition with the natural waves of the human body and suppress them.
Indirect impact of the electronic devices on the Throat Chakra
All the information which you get from the devices is coming IN with the enormous speed. One could say, the Throat Chakra is constantly weakened by the informational current. How do you think to have it (Throat Chakra) feeling well, healed and in harmony? No way in such a way!
We are not able to afford with even the simple emotional challenges because we constantly weaken the Throat Chakra by holding phones in front of our bodies
Now, when we need to deal just with the simple things, some kind of emotional challenges – we can not afford it, we are not able to manage even with the routine!

How emotional poisons harm physically
Have you noticed, some people have problems with quinsy – accumulation of pus due to an infection behind the tonsils. The infection (bacteria) is only the consequence. The bacteria came where it was possible to come (the weakened damaged area), but the tonsils – the area of the Throat Chakra – was already weak enough to succumb to ailments.

It is clearly seen in children – those who are constantly suppressed by narcissist parents have problems with quinsy – there are so much emotional poisons stuck in the filter, – the Throat Chakra!
