I am still addicted
In January 2019 I switched to 100% naturally sweet delights
With a good dose of conscious thinking and in decades formed willpower, in January 2019 I switched to 100% naturally sweet delights. The ration did not include any “junk” or “hidden” sugar – no honey, no agave or maple syrup – just fresh fruits and my-made sweet delights from dry fruits, sometimes.
You could find my recipes of 100% naturally sweet delights on my site:
- Making ball sweets from black sesame seeds
- Coconutty sex prelude
- Fruity muffins
- Implementing new idea: peanut butter/cocoa.chia
- Pulpy mango – sweet breakfast
- Wheat breads with dates
And some of my recipes which include natural sweeteners like date or maple syrup:
I was partially sugar-free till the New Year party 2020
In a few months I was free from sugar addiction and felt a new way of feeling myself in the rejuvenate body.
But.
But sugar was all the way around: meetings with friends, small parties, big parties, celebrations, holidays, Christmas, and finally celebration of the New Year 2020 prevailed all my conscious efforts to get rid of sugar intake. I actually ask myself, is it about sugar or flour?…

That could not continue for so long! Encouraging videos and articles did not help anymore. I decided to give up and searched for a specific book. And luckily I found it!
Yes, even with a big portion of willpower and consciousness – once I try a piece of cake I can not stop eating cakes for a few days or even a week! That is an addiction.

Hope to get out of there and wonder if there will be anyone who already made it – who already cured him/herself from sugar/flour addiction, please let me know in the comments below! Today I need your support, my reader.
So the book I have bought is called “Food Junkies: The Truth About Food Addiction” by Dr. Vera Tarman
Food Junkies: The Truth About Food Addiction
Comment below by Isabella Bellani:
She calls it new normal, I call it old normal, cause it used to be like this and now everybody is sick because of eating badly, but most people don’t want to admit it. In Italy we are, fortunately, very far away from the way people eat in the USA, but I can see it coming and soon we will have the same problems.

And one more exciting and informative video by Dr. Vera Tarman (you may find more on You Tube):
I am sweet enough!
I also found the call to join the September Sugar Free Challenge on the Dr. Vera’s Tarman website:
