Overture
Last year we walked through the mountains all days long. In the evenings, we were coming back to our place which was equipped with a small kitchenette.
What food to prepare when all of your favorite and most important kitchen utensils left at home? Of course, – salad:)
Two versions are available, for warm and rainy days. Because mountains are like this – one day it is sunny, another day it is drizzle, rainy and cloudy mountain mood.

TWO VERSIONS:
1) for warm days to refresh a body
2) for cold days to warm a body – with smoked goat cheese

Ingredients:
salad in process smoked goat cheese
black olives, pitted | 50 g |
sweet long red pepper | 1 |
sweet corn on a cob, boiled | 1 |
small pickled cucumbers | 20 |
Jalapeno peppers, pickled | 5-10 |
iceberg lettuce | 0.5 |
smoked goat cheese (for 2nd version of the salad) | 2-4 slices |
How to make it:
- wash, remove seeds and cut into pieces pepper
- wash and cut lettuce
- remove seed from Jalapeno peppers, cut into two pieces
- cut corns from a cob
- mix all veggies together
- add warm sliced goat cheese (preheated in a microwave or an oven)
