Recipe
for warm days to refresh a body
Before you start:
Passive time | Active time | Equipment needed | Servings |
30 min – 1 hour | 5 min | blender small whisk | 2 |
PASSIVE TIME is time before, during or after food preparation when nothing should be done, just waiting | soaking, sprouting, cooling down, freezing |
ACTIVE TIME is factual time spent in a kitchen for preparation | cutting, washing, boiling, crashing, mixing |
EQUIPMENT NEEDED | specific kitchen equipment, if not counting regular tools like pots, spoons or knifes |
Ingredients:
mango fruit, fresh | 1 pcs (fits 2.5 cup of cut in pieces) |
water, purified | 1 cup |
mint leaves, fresh | 4-6 pcs |
turmeric root, fresh | 5 cm of root piece |
black pepper, powder | 1/4 tsp |
chia seeds | 4 Tbsp |
Tbsp | table spoon |
tsp | tea spoon |
cup | US measuring cup, equal to 240 ml of water |
How to make it:
- In a blender, combine mango slices (without a seed, of course:)), black pepper, turmeric root, mint leaves and water
- Pour the mixture into two big serving cups
- Add 2 Tbsp of chia seeds to each of a cup and mix well with a whisk
- Let it stay on a counter for 30 min – 1 hour
- Serve with a mint leave and some chia seeds on a top. It is ready!

Important to know:
- Pulpy Mango breakfast is a separate meal. No other food should be consumed at the same time
- 2 Tbsp of chia seeds per person per day in enough!
- Keep the time space for at least 1 hour. If the first breakfast was a citrus juice (with lemons or oranges) – ensure to make a pause between citrus juice and sweet fruits like mango, because citrus fruits require different ferments to be involved in the digestion and can not be mixed with any sweet fruits at the same time
- Pulpy Mango sweet delight IS NOT any kind of dessert to eat with coffee. It is a separate meal
- To make turmeric active ingredients work well and bring it’s value, black pepper should always be added. Extract for the scientific article:
It has been demonstrated that combining curcumin (from turmeric) with piperine from black pepper increased the bioavailability of curcuminoids in animal and human studies (Pawar et al., 2012; Sehgal et al., 2011, 2012). This effect in vivo was mainly explained through the ability of piperine to inhibit hepatic and intestinal glucuronidation of curcuminoids and inhibition of release of curcuminoid into the intestine leading to an increase in bioavailability (Berginc et al., 2012) … // … Most likely other chemical components (aromatic and terpenic constituents such as β-caryophyllene, limonene, β-pinene, aphellandrene and α-humulene) of black pepper may also contribute to enhance the antioxidant activity of turmeric.
